Fade to Black Ratings & Reviews
- JaredXIIIOctober 24, 2025Fade to Black is definitely an unique horror movie that's about loving unique horror movies. Its an 1980s ode to the horror genre that's strange and fun.
- JeremiahAugust 11, 2025I always knew movie freaks were evil.
- Kevin WardJuly 7, 2025This was pretty fun. I loved the premise and setup, but think the ending (maybe the last 30-40 minutes) could have been better taking things a different direction—and definitely could have used more slashing. Weirdly, this movie felt like an alternate version of The Mask (Jim Carrey), except where Stanley Ipkiss isn’t a good guy, it doesn’t have a happy ending and it’s not family friendly. We’ve got an eccentric down on his luck leading man, acting out his movie fantasies trying to win over a Hollywood startlet-ish. Even has a cartoonish gangster shootout. I think this would make for an awesome reboot if they made it today.
- ajsa36June 12, 2025Hahaha. I know they made a few bombs, but have Mickey Rourke and James Remar been involved with anything worse than this? I doubt it.
