Also, Andy Warhol and Sedgwick's relationship was much more complex. Bob Dylan even threatened to sue the production company. "The film frames their dynamic as a straightforward, manipulative Svengali-and-muse scenario where Warhol ultimately discards Sedgwick. The reality is much more layered. Warhol and Sedgwick shared a genuine, reciprocal fascination. Warhol, though inherently aloof and often indirect about emotional matters, championed Sedgwick, while Sedgwick relied on him to elevate her into the pop" -Popmatters

In the mid-1960s, wealthy debutant Edie Sedgwick meets artist Andy Warhol. She joins Warhol's famous Factory and becomes his muse.
