Ex Machina Ratings & Reviews
- aniyah93817 March 2026Good plot
- lochlanna15 March 2026A little too accurate
- 84d592 March 2026Thought provoking movie. I won’t get into details because then it’ll be a spoiler.
- Jimmy27 January 2025Pretty good. Completely possible to fall in love with AI. The billionaire with no gun? Completely unrealistic...comon!
- Stairwaytothestars8 December 2025Very atmospheric, mysterious, unpredictable, and the lovely Alicia Vikander is very alluring, as she had me from the start with EX MACHINA taking matters into her own robotic hands.
- LivewireAdmin3 February 2026if ChatGPT looked like Alicia Vikander, I'd fold too
- Siggi Bjarnason31 January 2026Too many plotholes and premise that is too far fetched
- drunkllamajr17 March 2025It’s good!
- frankpanduh25 January 2026Rad cautionary tale!
- makdelart28 October 2025I love Alicia Vikander even in AI version.
- Nickyjames5 October 2025The movie that put A24 on the map. It's so good too as well as expertly directed. Tense, Sexy, Scary and even cathartic. What would you have done in his shoes?
- paullywise29 December 2025Quite good. One of the best in the neo ai frankenstein subgenre it helped to create. Thought provoking and stylish, though with a few irksome elements that lost it half a star with me
- Lindsay Dunlap17 December 2025great movie with an unexpected ending.
- carlijustice13 December 2025Despite being a bit slow, this movie really made me think. There are so many legal and moral issues surrounding A.I. that need to be adresses. This movie highlights so many of the dangers of A.I. in the future. In the end though, this movie reminds us that we mean nothing to an A.I. other than what we might provide for them that is necessary for them to continue functioning. The end is absolutely chilling!
- GrimeFiVideo10 December 2025Superb writing. Even on rewatches, I’m surprised at how tactful the dialogue is to invoke discomfort. Ex Machina is an uncomfortable and thought-provoking scifi film that feels much scarier now than when it was originally released.
