The story is about the struggle of private military companies on the territory of the city of Tarkov. Some represent the interests of the international corporation TerraGroup, conducting illegal activities there. Russian PMC BEAR sends a group led by Skif to the city to find missing colleagues, whose mission was to intercept information about the secret developments of TerraGroup.
