I just can't get over how OFTEN the movie wants us to absolutely know that Ender NEEDS to have sexual intercourse with his sister. That desire is not at all felt while reading.. But that's all we get whilst wartching this audio/visual book on disc. Unusual choice for a story twist to this novel series... The lusting desires of a pre-teen towards his sister... Hmm?! Hopefully the sequels will better follow the story of the books!

Super glad they waited for the technology and graphics to be here to make it into a film. This movie is freaking awesome! Even if you know the twist already because those 'cool people's can't keep a secret!

- ProbablyAHacher5 november 2025As a standalone movie, it's good. Great VFX, a compelling story, and the absurdity of children being forced to do jobs that adults do (the military) define this movie. However, it does skip a significant amount from the book, including a lot of political/philosophical themes with Locke and Eratosthenes.

- bogometer10 september 2025I don’t care what you think about Orson Scott Card, the Ender books are great Sci-Fi and so is this film: an excellent study of the morality of survival vs xenocide set in a Space Opera with excellent sets and CGI.
