Emelie Ratings & Reviews
- DARTH VADERNovember 2, 2025I really enjoyed the 1st and 2nd act of the film the suspense and tension building at the beginning and middle of the film was all really good and I was really interested and invested with where they were going to go with it in the final act and our antagonist EMILIE played by Sarah Bolger, gives a really good, chilling and riveting performance as our antagonist, but what ultimately holds this movie back a lot for me, is the 3rd act of the film with how it was handled and executed it just didn't quite come together for me, they couldn't quite stick the landing with it in other words. Also I found it to be very anticlimactic, predictable and the very ending was unsatisfying, unfocused, and undefinitve had the 3rd act been as strong and as focused as act 1 and act 2 then I would have given at least a 4 and a half star rating but unfortunately the last 20 mins especially were very disappointing.
