Where to Watch Elektra
- stuhannafordJune 12, 2025It’s not a bad cast, it’s well shot, the score isn’t dreadful… but the script is soooo boring. It’s not a particularly long movie, so it’s indicative of how thin the story is that there are so many slow motion shots and artistic flashbacks to pad things out. You could watch the first three or four minutes, then skip half an hour and you won’t have missed anything overly important. Nothing, really, happens. Ever. Oh, and the lead character is anything but electric in nature. Dull.
- levi c lundMay 3, 2026The worst thing about this film is pacing. Outside of the fact that there is a 30 minute lull in the beginning its not terrible. I wouldn't say its good, but that hot take comes from its other issue. If you weren't a huge fan of Daredevil, who is this for. I don't think general audiences know or care who Elektra is outside of her relationship with Daredevil. You have to be a fan of her character not only to have the interest required to finish this film, but to see it in the first place. Without additional context Elektra seems unremarkable.
