- pah5532026年1月11日Checking another one off the watchlist today with the 2010 gritty thriller Edge of Darkness. It’s a film that truly doesn’t fuck around, delivering a lean and somber atmosphere from start to finish. While Mel Gibson turns in a solid, grounded performance in the lead, Ray Winstone absolutely steals his scenes as the mysterious and ethically ambiguous fixer. A solid "consequences" story.

- CravanThePugilist2025年11月3日I'm seeing a lot of middling-to-bad reviews here... idk. I love this movie. I've probably seen it 5 times, & I'll see it a bunch more, too. It's oddly comforting to me. & that scene at the very start - the sound design etc. (no spoilers) - the first time I was watching the film, it shocked me to my core, & that scene still kinda terrifies me when I see it. Masterful direction there.
- ርልዪረ2025年1月31日although the film is quite old at least it tells a story from the start and being able to hear clear dialogue as opposed to films these days where its violence from the outset you don't know whats going on and they tend to mumble. So nice to see Mel Gibson after so long.
