And it's one of those films that you'll never forget, even if you only watch it once throughout your lifetime. There's no wonder why both Michael Fassbender & Kelly Reiley have gone onto have very good careers after this, there both brilliant in this. And you 💯 believe that they are a very loved up couple, which makes Eden Lake feel even more tragic & sad. Also a big shout out to Jack O'connell he was very convincingly scary, intense, unpredictable & messed up as Bret the ring leader of the gang that's terrorising the couple, he gives such a dark performance 😨😨😨 And finally you can't talk about Eden Lake without mentioning that horrifying ending, that leaves you absolutely gut punched and shocked. My Ratings/Scores for Eden Lake are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & a 10/10

No resolution, no revenge, just a bunch of lazy, anxiety induced torture scenes with bad things continuing to happen until it's eventual, drawn out, sad ending. If it was done for shock value then it was done poorly. The audience is left completely unsatisfied at the end. BORING.
- Dexter DavisSeptember 24, 2025This was an ( Excellent) Horror/ Thriller movie....it shows you ( in depth) just how bad, some teenagers can be .....A very sad, & Horrible Ending.... ( I would have loved to seen a happy ending, for the Harried couple , in it).....overall : a ( Great) movie; definitely worth a watch.....👍👍👍
