- makdelart5 de março de 2026Okay, the film is drawn with thick, bold lines, and the acting is a bit exaggerated at times, but it gives an interesting picture of a micro-society, human behaviour and characters: when the food runs out, there is no room for philosophy. There is tension, and it is enjoyable to watch.

Great plot based on true events, depicts the harsh reality of isolated off grid living in that time, and the human elements of all of the settlers, as they try to deal with one another. I enjoyed the directing choices of Howard. Strong acting performances from most, only felt De Armas character could have been a bit more subtle in her selfish conceitedness it could have drawn a lot from more layers and less bluntness. I thought Sydney Sweeney was excellent, and her role was cast perfectly. All in all, i liked this movie. i will rate this 7.7/10

- Michael Surber24 de fevereiro de 2026Crazy intensity. Hard to believe it's based on a true story but it's from Ron Howard so it's a very well done film. All of the leads are perfect. Both Sydney Sweeney and Ana de Armas really prove they are capable actresses here. Jude Law is stunning and over the top. Still not sure what I watched... like I said, crazy.
