Edelweiss is inspired by real events discovered within the pages of a WWII soldier's journal. We catch a glimpse of the compassion that lies within the hearts of those forced into a life of survival during devastating times, when a nurse saves the life of a valuable hostage, only to see him taken away for an inevitably brutal interrogation.
