Inventive, humorous, quirky, and uplifting, though it occasionally veers into dull territory. However, it’s the captivating character of Ngoc Lan Tran, portrayed by Hong Chau, that elevates this film to new heights.

Shame. A jumbled story that could have gone in several different directions. All a bit soppy in the end. Nice watch, nothing more than that I’m afraid.

An absolutely awful film. The trailers made it look like a funny, lighthearted comedy about Matt Damon getting shrunk down to live in a tiny village. Turns out, the trailer literally showed every single funny moment in the entire film. Once the shrinking part is over it turns into this depressing movie about social class and the environment that drags on forever. Felt like I was stuck in a boring lecture that I never signed up for. It’s hands down the worst thing I’ve ever seen Matt Damon in. This was easily one of the most disappointing films I’ve ever sat through

The end is corny. There's something both charming and depressing about this film. Not sure how to articulate it. Then there's that 'white savior' smell to it, but it's entertaining enough.
