Directed by Manmohan SinghKanwal Singh Sidhu, an unemployed slacker, falls for Ladi Kaur. Their fathers, Professor Kang Singh and Sarpanch Gurtej, disapprove. Kanwal departs to prove himself worthy, while Ladi reluctantly accepts her father's marriage choice.
