- NiztradamusJanuary 28, 2026Digging up the Marrow is a very well made mockumentary about the real life director Adam Green (Hatchet franchise) getting contacted by a guy convinced that monsters live underground. The movie doesn't take itself too seriously and has quite a few good laughs to give. Sadly the payoff isn't exactly what I had hoped for. While the monster design is absolutely gorgeous, the acting believable and the story very interesting, the movie doesn't quite stick the landing. Digging up the Marrow would have really benefited from a more fleshed out ending. I won't say more to avoid spoiling you.
