Miriam Berghoff and Daniel Guth are finally getting married. One of Daniel's wedding guests is his former friend Stefan, who arrives with his wife Antonia and son Noah. Stefan suddenly breaks down while dancing and it's determined to be heart failure. Daniel and Miriam cancel their wedding and honeymoon plans and do everything to save Daniel's life. Another accident soon happens: Miriam's son Frederik has an accident with the mini-motorbike Miriam's half-sister Linda gave him. Frederik seems to be dead; the experienced physician knows that he only has a faint chance of survival and he must use it.
