The film begins in a village where a newborn child has left an orphan at the temple. Rayudu (Satyanarayana) a top-tier and kind-hearted declares him as a child of their village and calls him Devudu. Years roll by, Devudu (Nandamuri Balakrishna) grows up as a naive and gullible but shows hatred on marriage. He is beneficial to everyone and pulse to the village.
