Demolition Man Ratings & Reviews
- Daniel GustavssonOctober 13, 2024One of the best sci fi action movies ever. The cast is fantastic. The effects are fantastic. The story can be a bit all over the place at times, but in general it is fantastic too.
- Neon Ghloes5h agoDiscouraging to know the future doesn't yet utilize, nor MANDATE bidets... It's gross that ALL of you reading this have little smears of shit on yer buttholes right now. Washing the ass opening is the ONLY way to ensure cleanliness. And rubbing seashells across yer fart factory will do nothing but turn tiny smears of shit, into a laundering NIGHTMARE! Clean yer fuckin asses people! GROSS! G'on! Git!
- ርልዪረFebruary 2, 2025Explosive Stallone thriller. It is one of Sylvester Stallone's greatest action films from the 1990s with catchy dialogue and humourous scenes. The action scenes are cleverly choreographed with impressive explosions. It is clever in its depiction of the future and is somewhat accurate, although reality is slightly less advanced. There are electric cars and a peaceful society. Goldenthal's score is very orchestral. The plot follows the story of John Spartan, a policeman who is resurrected to catch killer Simon Phoenix in a future Los Angeles now called San Angeles.
- flavo43January 20, 2026Demolition Man is one of those films I happily revisit whenever I’m in the mood for explosive action mixed with sharp, dark comedy. Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes bring enormous charisma and bravado to their roles, turning this near‑future clash between a cryogenically revived cop and a gleefully unhinged criminal into pure entertainment. The film’s vision of San Angeles—a society that has eliminated violence, profanity, and anything remotely unhealthy—is both amusing and unsettling, creating a satirical backdrop that still feels oddly relevant. The extended cast adds plenty of flavour, and the world‑building is surprisingly strong, with production design and effects that establish a memorable, quirky future. The story moves briskly, balancing action with humour, and the film is sprinkled with clever Easter eggs that hint at technological and cultural shifts to come. Overall, it’s a fun, stylish sci‑fi romp that stands out as a quintessential ’90s action classic.
- StreetterOctober 19, 2025Really great concept. It oddly enough predicted the future pretty accurately, the world is full of p***ies who are offended by everything.
- callu138August 29, 2025Absolutely terrible cinema. I will watch this yearly for the rest of my life
- CubaneJanuary 8, 2026Learning how to use the 3 seashells is critical to functioning in polite society.
- Jonathan KillebrewDecember 28, 2025Classic 90's Action movie. I love the Stallone and Bullock relationship and a classified so many different nostalgic elements that make this movie a one-of-a-kind. Wesley Snipes definitely played a huge role in adding such an iconic villain to this movie. I still like him more as a good guy but in this he was top notch.
- mickerdooSeptember 12, 2025Love that they just went for it. Explosions, fist fights, corny catchphrases, futuristic sets and costumes. The leads make this a classic.
- jpeters3November 8, 2025Pretty funny movie.
- hairydemonOctober 16, 2025overly stuffed scifi kitch. Like a hyper violent Buck Rogers. Its too cheesy to say its good, but too slick to say it's bad.
- einlan5October 3, 2025Classic fun movie.
- John ShadelSeptember 8, 2025This movie is a classic.
- tellumSeptember 6, 2025A very satircal action comedy and relentlessly parodies the future almost as much as Back to the Future 2. Sly does Sly stuff, but Wesley and Sandra steal the show with really fun performances.
- Mike GAugust 29, 2025A 90’s action classic. Like going home to eat mom’s cooking, it’s a comfort flick for guys of a certain age. I’m still just trying to figure out how the three sea shells work!
