Deathstalker is our “hero,” though he stumbles through the film like a toddler who wandered onto the wrong set. He never seems to have his own quest, just a habit of overtaking someone else’s. Armed with what appears to be a wooden sword painted silver, Deathstalker swings his way through yet another adventure, this time in search of a set of stones that carry absolutely no weight in the story. The result? An hour or so of poor swordplay, flimsy props, and wardrobe malfunctions disguising itself as a fantasy film.
