We jumped right into a possession case, and it looked like the first team was in trouble and needed some serious help. Its the same old story, and the men can't see a woman's true worth simply because of her gender and at the folly of their ignorance. There is something to be said of the way in which the storytelling is done in Korean films, and especially when battling the forces of evil, their faith feels so powerful and absolute that it's palpable.

it was typical exorcism horror movie. very typical. it is not bad per se; it is just the type that would not be memorable. i may be harsh with my rating because i am a fan of horror genre so i tend to compare with the other movies. so take my review with a grain of salt.

This movie has some genuinely stunning imagery, especially during the more intense possession moments. The atmosphere is heavy and the lighting in certain scenes really pulls you in. But for all the visual flair, the story underneath feels disappointingly familiar. It follows a pretty standard exorcism setup and while it teases something deeper, like trauma or memory or even faith, it never really expands on any of it. There are moments where you can feel the potential for a more emotional or layered story, but it never takes that extra step. The film seems content to stay on the surface. Even the demon itself feels limited in what it can do. Outside of flickering lights and shaking furniture, it does not really pose much of a threat or create lasting tension. You can sense that a more intense and meaningful film is buried in there somewhere. There is something powerful trying to break through but it never fully emerges.
