Asylum is a taut psychological thriller about a deranged fearsome killer running lose in an abandoned high security Asylum. Pitting the county psychiatrist Dr. Maggie Belham against the psychotic maniac, Dr Belham is trapped in a maze of corridors, and her only help is the janitor, Quitz who may in fact be a forgotten asylum inmate.

I LOVE this movie!! Yeah I get it. It's not a "great movie" but I adore it. Used to watch it as a teenager and found it again 15 years later and was surpirsed by how little I remembered! It's the exact kind of horror movie you would expect from the early 2000's. Acting is good, story is good and its just overall very entertaining. The only thing I don't like is that all of the kills were off screen with very little shown at all. Like c'mon....we are watching a horror movie here, we can take it. 5/5 stars though
