Cutting Through Rocks Ratings & Reviews

  • Kevin WardJanuary 10, 2026
It’s always incredibly inspiring seeing someone with the deck almost completely stacked against them, whether it’s economic means or a patriarchal society, and watching them push through as Sara Shahverdi has. She’s an absolute force of nature, a motorcycle‑riding, first‑elected councilwoman of her Iranian rural village and staunch advocate for other women. Incredibly moving but at the same time frustrating to see how hard the fight is.
