- Eldon McGuinnessApril 8, 2025Constantine is such a great antihero, and this live-action version is a great example of what a live-action version of an animated character can be. Keanu Reeves is such a good fit for this character when it comes to looks and his ability to fit the attitude and feel of the character is uncanny. The supporting cast is no slouch either and helps to add a touch of drama and comedy in just the right areas. The storyline is great and sticks to an arc that you would find in the Constantine universe while giving you a great introduction to the character himself. The Special effects are nicely done, though nothing major other than the hellscapes. Overall, this is a great addition to the character, and I hope to see more!
- CubaneApril 14, 2026A rare example of a DC Comics property that isn't just more superhero slop; this movie takes elements of the Christian faith and makes a fairly compelling fantasy world out of it. Keanu Reeves has the acting range of a wet dish cloth, but the single character he plays is usually good. And so it is again here. Actual cannibal Shia Labeouf is apparently also in this movie.
- ZokkiieFebruary 8, 2026Honestly, this movie doesn’t get enough credit. Keanu Reeves is surprisingly good as the world-weary demon hunter, and the visuals are dark and stylish without going overboard. The story can be a bit messy at times, but it’s entertaining and has some genuinely cool moments. Definitely underrated—worth a watch if you’re into supernatural action.
- AmineOctober 31, 2025🔥 My thoughts after watching Constantine: Honestly, this film still stands as one of the best dark fantasy movies of the 2000s. The gloomy atmosphere, Keanu Reeves’ stoic yet emotional performance, and the haunting soundtrack make it unforgettable. The mix of religion, mythology, and supernatural horror is done brilliantly. Constantine himself is such a complex, broken hero — and that final scene with Lucifer? Absolutely iconic. A movie worth rewatching every few years. 👏 ⭐ Personal Rating: 8.5 / 10 🎬 Best Scene: The confrontation with the Devil — pure cinematic gold.
