Consecration Ratings & Reviews
- Kevin WardJuly 3, 2025I’m kind of a sucker for religious (Catholic) horror, so this is definitely my thing. It’s a very slow moving murder mystery, that has Jena Malone visiting a Scottish convent looking for answers to her brother’s apparent murder suicide. Once there she she begins to uncover some revelations about her traumatic past. I mentioned that it’s very slow moving first because that’s probably my biggest complaint here. The first 45 minutes were very sluggish and there’s not really any scares or gruesome murders to liven things up. But the body count does start to stack up by the end, and I have to admit that I really didn’t see the end reveal coming. I really loved Christopher Smith’s Triangle from a few years back, and I quite liked this one as well.
