Color Out of Space Ratings & Reviews
- nykfistt7d agoabsolute classic.
- Floyd SimpsonApril 23, 2026Exciting visuals a premise. Nick Cage leaning into the absurdity is key to enjoying this film.
- Stefan_SKApril 1, 2026My god the Horse S..t of a movie. Why do ppl make this type of stuff. Waste of life
- Ray HopkinOctober 31, 2024This was amazing! What a completely wild, totally out there and freaky movie! Cage is his usual brilliant self, and the rest of the cast were great. I couldn't take my eyes off throughout.
- N8October 12, 2024I went into Color Out of Space expecting a cosmic horror flick, and it delivered. This movie is like a fever dream come to life, visually stunning, completely unsettling, and at times, just plain weird. Nicolas Cage is... well, Nicolas Cage. He fully embraces the madness of the situation, delivering a performance that's both hilarious and disturbing. The rest of the cast holds their own, especially Madeleine Arthur as the daughter, Lavinia, who brings a raw vulnerability to her role. The special effects are trippy and mesmerizing, capturing the otherworldly nature of the "color" that infects the Gardner family and their farm. The cinematography is gorgeous, with vibrant colors contrasting against the encroaching darkness. It's like watching a nightmare unfold in slow motion. The movie doesn't shy away from body horror, and there are some truly grotesque scenes that'll stick with you. But amidst the chaos, there's a poignant undercurrent of existential dread that's straight out of Lovecraft's playbook. The Gardner family's descent into madness is both terrifying and heartbreaking to watch. Color Out of Space isn't for everyone. It's slow-paced, deliberately unsettling, and definitely not afraid to get weird. But if you're a fan of Lovecraftian horror, cosmic horror, or just want to see Nicolas Cage go completely unhinged, this movie is a must-see. Just be prepared for a wild ride.
- juan david BarretoMay 26, 2025This is a fun cosmic horror movie.
- goph_February 13, 2026What in the ketimaine did I just watch? Trippy Lovecraftian cosmic horror staring Nicolas Cage playing Nicolas Cage.
- Örn LúðvíkssonMarch 8, 2025Pretty effed up but I liked it.
- SoranIsOnMay 14, 2025Very watchable, intriguing, solid vfx, not much of a payoff but its certainly stomach churning at times. Cage is a bit over the top as usual, you'd think it would pay off here but as usual he's a bit much which is hilarious considering how f'd this movie is.
- Rabon SanchezMarch 8, 2025Original 30 minutes trop long
- RhythmOctober 25, 2024Definitely a good movie, worth the watch and will leave you thinking about it after. But if you don't like high pitch noises, it will annoy you
