- marshalseahace 7 dEarly Carry On films are fantastic. The actors lean into the well written stupidity of the scripts. This is in that peak middle period where the ribald was just enough against the utter madness going on around them. The actors all lean into it the nonsense and deliver some great and memorable performances. They're often now viewed as relics, but what great relics they are.
