Campfire Tales Ratings & Reviews
- Matthias_812April 8, 2025Comforting nostalgic 90's is Campfire Tales. A tribute to urban legends structured as an anthology. Those half-true stories passed around schoolyards, chain emails, or, fittingly, at campfires. The simplicity is part of the charm. It puts the focus where it should be: on the stories themselves. Not all of those stories hit equally. Some hit the spot. Some fall flat. But a couple really shine, not because they’re inventive, but because they’re familiar. And that is the film’s greatest strength- leaning into well-worn legends and giving them a glossy, 90's revamp.
- clybesJuly 22, 2025Cheesy 90'a nostalgia that is short on the scares and script, but the 'tales' are fun, full of charm, and best is all there's 'Mark' from Roseanne! I wouldn't add it to my list of must-sees but if you're having a cosy horror night in then it's worth a visit.
