Calvaire Ratings & Reviews
- NiztradamusFebruary 26, 2026What an unfathomably stupid movie. The acting was bad, the writing was horrible, the premise as a whole makes no sense... If you expect something like it's genre peers of the French extremety movement like Martyrs or High Tension look elsewhere. It's nowhere near as brutal as those while managing to have almost no redeeming qualities. These characters, all of them are clinically insane. It started off interestingly enough but as soon as it became clear what's going on my bullshit meter started to go crazy. Don't do this to yourself. Go watch something better instead.
