- Jordan JonesJanuary 9, 2026Not a great sequel but not a terrible one either! I was very mixed on it overall, as you can tell from my rating that I gave it. I really liked that they opened the movie up with Paul, our lead character from the 1st film. I was gutted that they killed him off straight away and suddenly, but at the same time it made logical sense, because he was right on deaths door anyway, it gives this sequel that connective tissue to the OG and continues directly from where the 1st one left off, which is a really good thing, it gives it that sense of continuity and what made it feel even more connected to the 1st is they had that young stange cop from the 1st one as well, that was a good move bringing him back. Also I really liked the intro & outro animated scenes, where it shows us how the virus is spreading and escalating, more and more out of control as time goes on. This one was definitely more gross than that 1st Film. Ultimately where this sequel really falls flat is with its characters, the love triangle side story that's very boring and uninteresting, the stupid decisions that some of the characters make, doesn't fully work and this one tries to be bigger in terms of scale! This movie bites a lot more off than it can chew. What made the 1st one work so well is that it's small scale, we only had 5 characters to focus on in a cabin, which had that sense of isolation, atmosphere and had that sense of dread about it as well! This 2nd film doesn't have any of those qualities and that's what held it back for me. Also the title of this movie is very inaccurate and misleading because this all takes place in a school, not in a cabin 🙄 they should have called it school fever oh something different other than cabin fever 2, it just doesn't make sense and what happens in the movie doesn't match it's title 🧐 Finally how it all went down and wrapped up in the 3rd Act, didn't completely come together and work for me, in the end I was very mixed on it. 👍 👎
- KyGunJanuary 2, 2026It passed the time. Not very good but I managed to watch it all the way through.....This time. I've tried a few times before. Its gory and stupid. You have to see it to understand. I did keep watching to see what happened next but nothing really happened. Time waster. Nothing more.
