Buried Ratings & Reviews
- Dawn BrownOctober 6, 2025I have tried to watch this half a dozen times and I finally got all the way through it. Not because it’s bad, it’s good, but my claustrophobia acts up SO MUCH because 95% of this is shown from inside a buried coffin sized wooden box so OMFG I had to pause it so many times just to calm my brain down! Loved it though! And Ryan Reynolds does awesome. 👏
- StairwaytothestarsAugust 2, 2025It's amazing that a guy in a coffin is very entertaining!
- DARTH VADER3d agoBuried in my opinion is Ryan Reynolds most underrated film! While it may not have that rewatch value about it, because of how sad and highly disturbing it is, but it's a film that will be burned into your brain, the 1st and only time that you watch it anyway. This is a one of the best, one time watch movies that I've ever seen
- Peter BickfordDecember 8, 2025Ryan Reynolds acts his butt off in a movie that does exactly what it says on the... box. Creative, claustrophobic filmmaking which--although you have to admire the craft and talent on display here--is nevertheless relentlessly unpleasant.
- ayayronFebruary 23, 2025Ryan Reynolds trying to think outside the box in order to survive inside a box
- ርልዪረJanuary 3, 2026When this movie started and the opening credits began, it was in parallel with Hitchcock movies, almost a replica of the Psycho opening sequence. It was fairly obvious that the director has been inspired by the Master of Macabre. I was intrigued for the entire 90 minutes of the movie, and although there were a couple of scenes that I was unsure about, it was still well worth watching. Ryan Reynolds is believable as a man buried alive in a coffin, and you can really feel the emotions he experiences during the movie. There is some wonderful conversations he has on the phone, in particular when he speaks to his mother. Just as you think that nothing more can happen, a surprise twist occurs which makes you want to stay and see if he will or will not survive. The ending was a surprise to me. Like Phone Booth and Man On A Ledge, both I have only seen recently, I had to watch this to it's full conclusion, and I did enjoy it.
- Lindsay DunlapDecember 14, 2025this movie seemed intense and made me so nervous 10 minutes into it that I had to turn it off.
- kelsorobertJanuary 15, 2026Differently scopped out..

- 5g44q2July 31, 2025Bro, this movie is honestly one of the best movies I’ve watched in a minute AMAZING
- jamessa84July 23, 2025GR8 movie. Ryan Reynolds was excellent as always. Five thumbs up 👍 👍👍👍👍.
- Jerry R. Coleman, Jr.June 26, 2025This movie ended in such a dumb way... It isn't worth the hour and 35 minutes it took to get to the end of it. If your somebody that can't resist, skip to the end first and you will be thankful that you didn't waste your time...
- christinav61November 19, 2025It’s a sad movie
- The Gutter MonkeyNovember 19, 2025The specifics of the plot aren't too special, but the claustrophobic concept is cool, and Reynolds carries the show well.
- julietteapplebyNovember 3, 2025Might be biased because I love Ryan Reynolds 🤷♀️ Sue me
