Bulletproof Ratings & Reviews
- TonyRigatonyAugust 30, 2025Hidden gem, Sandler does it all.
- race373August 22, 2025Raw Comedy and action.
- ርልዪረJanuary 26, 2025This one of the best action comedies to come out of the Mid - 90's, with Damon Wayons & Adam Sandler proving to be pure comedy gold as undercover cop who befriends a low level thief to get close to drug kingpin played by the ever reliable James Caan. The opening in which a drug deal gone wrong where Wayon's cop Keats gets accidently shot in the head Sandler's Mose's sets in the chain of events that follow resulting in Mose's turning states evidence against Caan after he has a hit put on him. The title Bulletproof refers to the metal plate put in Keats head following his recovery after being shot in the head. There's plenty of action and great oneliners between the 2 leads as they criss the country avoiding the hitmen and double dealing FBI agents. Director described that with this movie he was attempting to make a 90's version of 48 Hrs (1982) with a role reversal where Sandler is playing the Eddie Murphy con man type and Wayans is the Nick Nolte cop type. Overall it's an extremely fun movie hitting on cylinders and never disappoints and will have you cracking with laughter throughout if you like this type of buddy - buddy comedy action movie.
