Brick Ratings & Reviews
- SeymourFinchJuly 21, 2025Good movie, I can see a part 2 being added to this.
- Josh CJuly 13, 2025A dubbed movie. Nothing overly exciting. Could’ve add quite a bit more to rev up the excitement. I was hoping for more.
- RichardOctober 21, 2025Streamed it, stayed till the end, not amazing, but intriguing enough to finish. This one’s got a bold premise: an apartment building suddenly walled off by a mysterious brick barrier, forcing neighbors to band together and figure out what’s going on. It leans into claustrophobia and mystery, with a sci-fi edge that’s more mood than logic. Matthias Schweighöfer leads the cast with solid intensity and the visuals do a good job selling the trapped atmosphere. But the story? A bit patchy. Some plot holes, some character choices that feel more “script says so” than earned and a few moments that try to be profound but land more like filler. Still, I watched it through, which says something. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s got that “late-night curiosity” vibe.
- eckoryanOctober 15, 2025So, I had a few notes for the director, and a couple of writing suggestion. But…

- DTSaitoAugust 22, 2025Fun movie, from Germany! Nice narrative and decent acting; It’s a really well done B flick.
- KyGunAugust 5, 2025I gave it a 2 because it started out like it could be a good thriller and a possible decent storyline. Unfortunately it has horrible woke writers who decided this movie should be total crap by writing in a (SPOILER ALERT) Black, granddaughter, lesbian to an old white man. These people are typical and obvious with their propaganda. The woke mob turns everything into garbage. It doesn't have a lot of woke garbage in it but 5 seconds is 5 seconds too long.
- BurnharmJuly 16, 2025This felt like a film with a really intriguing concept, but in the end, it didn’t quite land for me. While it does a great job creating that claustrophobic, trapped feeling and the visuals and tension are definitely there. I often found myself confused by what was actually going on. The story felt disjointed at times, and with some plot holes. It seemed more focused on atmosphere than delivering a coherent plot, and although I appreciated the mood it created, I was left wanting more substance and clarity.
- NiztradamusAugust 4, 2025Pretty good escape room type movie but when it comes to acting only Matthias Schweighöfer delivers. The rest of the cast are either really bad actors or the writing is completely off. On the standard of made for TV for German Television though. Yes, I am a native German speaker. Scientifically speaking it's utter bullshit but besides that it's an intruiging concept though. I would say it's worth a watch for all German speakers. I can't talk about the dub but maybe watch it with German and subtitles, if you can't speak German. The dub is apparently really bad. One thing that really pisses me off: It's the fourth god damn movie in a row I'm watching with gay elements in it. As if the whole fucking world woke up one morning and decided it it's gay! I'm so over this shit!

- michael.b562July 13, 2025Entertaining, not boring at all
- rampage98July 13, 2025It was an interesting situation the characters find themselves, but some of the over-acting got out of hand when it kept happening. A more technical or suspenseful direction may have been a better approach than the constant emotional outbursts that the director went with, but sci-fi is different for everyone.
