- Desmond DaleJanuary 24, 2025If Breakfast on Pluto has any glaring flaw it might be that it often throws a bummer wrench into its otherwise rousing vagrant adventure. However, I'm of the opinion that one of the most impressive things about the film is how it constantly rises above the weighty waters of autocratic rule, xenophobia and religious bigotry in which its set and pumps an irreverent pink punk fist in the air repeatedly even in the face of death and destruction. The music selection and color palette also add to its electrifying flair. It's two hour length is completely packed and filled with big moment after moment with lots of character study packed in between.
