Rob's lived with obsessive-compulsive disorder since he was a kid, and it's worn him down to the bone. Now a teacher, he's hanging on by a thread, his compulsions and intrusive thoughts finally pushing him right into a work suspension for blurting out insults to his students. He's packed his things and is leaving the school when he steps in dog poop on his way out of the school car park. This is the final straw. With nowhere else to turn, he reluctantly ends up at an OCD support group in a drafty community centre, surrounded by people all fighting their own minds and compulsions. Anna (with tourettes) runs the group. She welcomes Rob into the room. It's chaos... and organised at the same time. We hear each person's battle with their condition, including Angel, who talks about not being able to hold her newborn child because of her crippling OCD. Amidst all the humour and heartbreak of this eclectic little group, Rob slowly - almost in spite of himself - begins to relax. And for the first time in his life, he starts to wonder if this chaotic room might actually be where he belongs.
The key characters in Box of Frogs are Rob (Mathew Horne), Patrick (Mark Lewis Jones), Sandeep (Amit Shah).
