Bowling for Columbine Ratings & Reviews
- Rowan KrzysiakDecember 24, 2025To Moore's credit, there's very little that dates the documentary. I would suggest that it can be a bit too free flowing and can get lost looking for answers but that is somewhat inherent in the nature of the subject that was tackled. The sad fact is that the impactful bits become less impactful because we're so used to American Gun violence at this point. I think a couple of wince inducing, potentially unnecessary moments aside it's still doing the job it was doing at the turn of the century.
- Felipe.PonceNovember 29, 2025First of all: I’m not American! And here is my opinion: Absolutely detestable. 1-It starts presenting the issue well. 2-It moves on to question the issue. Which is perfect at this point. 3-Then it aggressively switches to only presenting the director’s opinion. Distorting USA’s history as absolute villains, fearmongers, and murderous people. It tries to spread the idea of victimhood picking few isolated cases and choosing stats in a partial manner that’d corroborate the director’s point of view. Waste of time!
