Bloodsport Ratings & Reviews
- brycecalhounApril 25, 2026Blast from the past - just as fun as I thought it would be, and just as terrible acting and fight scenes as I remembered.
- Mike MartinsJune 6, 2025Definitely a watch once every 2 years movie for sure. You always catch something different you didn't realize before .
- falkerDecember 30, 2025I forgot how long the "looking to the past" scene was with the super awkward young Frank. Gosh. Wow. The rest of this movie still feels like popping in an old VHS in 1993. It shaped my teenage year, and I still love it.
- BrentDecember 28, 2025It's exactly what you think it is, and it's exactly what it needs to be.
- 51LV3RJuly 8, 2025There is nothing like the 80’s and JCVD movies. It always hits home for me.
- K1t5un3May 30, 2025Favorite-movie-of-all-time!!! Is Frank Dux a narcissistic poser? Yeah. Was Jean Claude a coke addicted 80's star? True. Has MMA ruined everyone's perception on mystical kung-fu moves? Definitely. But, still, is this movie chalked full of testosterone goodness? Let's just say if you went in as a hairless ape, you'll come out a gorilla by the end of the movie. Frank Dux maybe fake, but Jean Claude is not. If you watched any of Jean Claude's kick boxing fights from back in the day, this guy had feet that moved like lighting, truly scary stuff. When Jean says he was world champ, he's not lying, because K1 didn't exist in his time, unlike some people... Bloodsport is why simple stories work. I'd like to quote a famous programmer we all know and love, "Idiots admire complexity, geniuses admire simplicity." I'm sure you can appreciate how this totally awesome movie is driven by such a simplistic but entirely functional story.
- trrsDecember 21, 2025Somehow this movie is so bad that its good. I mean acting wise its terrible but thats part of its charm. The soundtrack is one of the best I’ve heard in a movie score really makes you want to go out and fight the next person you see after watching. 10/10 and I rarely give out that to anything.

- tellumAugust 17, 2025If the friend had just finished the villain instead of taunting for no reason, he wins the tournament and the whole movie doesn’t even happen.
