After Elaine Hopkin is found dead, apparent an OD suicide, her firstborn Mark won't even inform his dad James Hopkin, who is locked up for murder. When kid sister Justine, a cocky uniformed cop, goes to visit him, she discovers that he was just released. After the autopsy concludes asphyxiation, she compromises friendly DC Jake Bannerman's official investigation by rash actions against procedure.
