The scene (46:00) in the hotel conference room where the kid addresses those corporate professionals is absurd to me. It's foolish to believe some charismatic kid has figured out what two-hundred-fifty years of American business hasn't. You don't get to be a successful CEO from NOT being cynical. Those professionals would've laughed that kid out of the room. Completely unrealistic scene, even for Hollywood. Like War Dogs, like Blow, like Boiler Room before it...this film has Scorcese written all over it. Cliched and cookie-cutter film, but kind of entertaining. Filmmakers with more skill would've made something out of this. Kevin Spacey was great as usual. Two-and-a-half.
