Directed by John CafieroIt's New York City, and the crime lord Big Baby Sweets has got NYC around his finger. The NYPD is helpless so the Chief sends out for Sugar Bear, a 70s, Dolemite worshiping, rhyming supercop from San Francisco to stop Big Baby, his Magic Ninjas, Hack Benjamin (Jumpsteady), and his 2 sidekicks, Big Stank and Lil' Poot, with the help of Officer Harry Cox.

- SpanktacularJuly 25, 2025Hear me out. Given the year it came out and the cast, I expected to cringe my way through an hour and a half of poorly-aged attempts at comedy. In reality, it ended up being a (profoundly low-budget) fun b-movie with a handful of genuine chuckles. Don't get me wrong, it's dumb as shit, cartoonishly vulgar, and the entire score is ICP beats and tracks. But it could/should be much worse. My only real complaint is the overuse of Harland Williams's twitchy mugging at the camera, but it was the 90s.
