The only reason they even decided to get together was that it hindered their chances of getting married to different people; who were also not okay with the two being such close friends. Since they didn't want to break off their life-long friendship, the two decided to stay friends forever. BFFs focuses on the duo's life after marriage and shows how these two best friends, deal with having to live as a couple for the first time.
