- RyezooFebruary 15, 2025Funnier than Mascots! Adorable dogs, quirky characters, and laughs throughout. The witty humor works and found myself laughing at the little things. This isn't a great movie but is totally watchable for any dog lover looking for a laugh. The announcer was probably my favorite character and the Shih Tzu had my vote!

This Christopher Guest-directed mockumentary nails the passion we hold for our furry friends, and the stereotypes attached to both dog breeds and the people that care for them. Casting is so key (Catherine O' Hara! Eugene Levy! Parker Posey! John Michael Higgins!) It's highly quotable, a guaranteed good time for fans that appreciate witty dialogue. And for lovers of physical comedy, there's plenty of that too!
