Bad Moms Ratings & Reviews
- CallumDecember 28, 2025⭐⭐⭐ – Bad Moms – Mean Girls grows up, but forgets the punchlines. It borrows heavily from the Mean Girls playbook, just filtered through the lens of adult frustration and fantasy. The structure is familiar, the targets are obvious, and the intent is clear — catharsis through rebellion against impossible expectations. The main issue isn’t that it’s bad. It’s that it’s a comedy, and I barely laughed. I don’t remember more than a couple of moments that even earned a proper giggle, which is a problem when humour is meant to be the engine driving everything forward. What surprised me most is the cast. There’s real talent on screen here, the sort of lineup that usually elevates thin material at least a little. But this ends up being a textbook example of how even strong performers can’t rescue a weak script. The jokes feel obvious, the escalation predictable, and the satire never really sharpens into anything that bites. It’s watchable enough. Comfortable. Occasionally relatable. But it never quite clicks into something memorable, and once it’s over there’s not much urge to revisit it. Three stars feels fair — not a disaster, not a triumph, just a mildly amusing idea that never fully delivers on its promise. 🍷 A cheap prosecco — fizzy, inoffensive, and forgotten not long after the glass is empty.
