Bébé part en vadrouille Notations et commentaires
- Callum28 décembre 2025⭐⭐⭐ – Baby’s Day Out – Slapstick chaos with a toddler’s passport. This one lives more in cultural memory than in sharp detail for me. I last watched it well over a decade ago, and what’s stuck isn’t plot so much as vibe: a baby loose in a big city, blissfully unaware, while the world around him absolutely eats itself trying to keep up. From what I remember, it’s essentially a live-action cartoon. The baby crawls, toddles, and accidentally parkours his way across what I’m fairly sure is New York, while a trio of would-be kidnappers endure escalating levels of physical punishment. Logic isn’t invited, physics is optional, and realism is left somewhere around the opening credits. You’re not meant to believe any of this — you’re meant to laugh at the contrast between infant innocence and adult incompetence. The humour is broad. Very broad. It’s pratfalls, near-misses, exaggerated pain, and a baby who seems functionally indestructible. Whether that lands or not depends entirely on your tolerance for slapstick. As a kid, that sort of thing works effortlessly. As an adult, it’s more of a mild, background amusement than a laugh-out-loud experience. What I don’t remember — which is telling in itself — is any particular emotional beat or standout moment that demanded a rewatch. It’s not offensive, not especially clever, and not trying to be anything more than light family entertainment. And to its credit, it mostly succeeds at exactly that. Three stars feels right. Harmless, forgettable, occasionally amusing, and probably best enjoyed without overthinking it — which, to be fair, is exactly how the film wants you to watch it. 🥤 A fizzy lemonade — sweet, noisy, and gone before you’ve really had time to think about it.
