The story of a film actress who came to the Moscow from the provincial town Gribov. Having started successfully, her career does not develop in the future, the talent turns out to be unclaimed. Problems in her personal life are added to professional failures - and the actress decides to "burn the bridges" and return to her native land. However, she remains charming and cheerful, does not lose optimism, and most importantly does not betray her vocation. And she is rewarded with dignity .
