Great expressions of emotions throughout the film that lend to the story while remaining just south of over acting. I enjoyed they story and by the end I was invested in the characters.
- "THE MOVIE FANATIC"April 18, 2026Is there anything Mads Mikkelsen can't do he can turn his hand to anything, he's very good at conveying & expressing emotion without dialogue and mainly through his eyes, the man is just a very special talent. And I thought Arctic was very realistic. It just gave us a big insight of all the dangers & obstacles that come with being stranded out in the Arctic...just a very well done and nicely put together film.

This movie really shows that a good script coupled with great acting can let a director make an intense and captivating movie, without any unnecessary over-the-top plot twists or dramas. A slow paced and thoroughly interesting movie, where everything feels grounded and real. Mads Mikkelsen is as always great.
