Ant-Man and the Wasp Ratings & Reviews
- OdinTheRavenKing25 April 2026## Synopsis Scott Lang is a father on house arrest, watching the world move on without him. Hope and Hank aren't talking to him since he went and got himself in trouble during [[Captain America Civil War]], but trouble comes calling again when Hope, the Wasp, finds a new adversary. ## Review This is the only Paul Rudd I know. Funny and passionate about what is going on. I love the montage of his daily routine and I am honestly more curious about how he affords that house. It is an awesome house and I really like what he does to transform it to be a place for him to play with Cassie. Their relationship is a defining moment for most of the cast honestly and really makes for a bonding point for everyone. I have always appreciated the comedy style that [[Ant-Man]] brings and this one is just as good. The comedy doesn't override the serious moments, but plays a large part of it. There is no joke that is delivered to early or to late. The timing is great. The action is ok. I feel there is a lot of just CGI fighting that they didn't think about having the people make contact with each other as they are fighting so there is for sure a lot of obvious misses and people just going to far for a normal punch. The car chase scenes are the the perfect examples of where this becomes a bigger problem and where the jokes become repetitive. They make the car smaller, giving it a whiney noise and then make people lose sight of it. First time, it was cool, 2nd - 7th time, too much. ## [My Rating] One last thing that I want to talk about and where I am sure either can be explained via Marvel science or was just forgotten is the building and the wheel of cars. I am pretty sure that the mass is supposed to be the same no matter what so how are they carrying around a 200 ton building like a suitcase? I am not sure, but it does pull you out of the movie on the second watch. The first time, it is fun and charming, the second it just feels like too much just like some of the repeating comedy bits. It is this repetition and pulling out of the world that brings this down to a 7. Not quite as good as the first one. ## [Parental Rating] There is the typical Marvel amount of language. Nothing crazy, nothing out right offensive, but it is persistent. This is again a movie about family and finding the right family with no sex/nudity. I am going to have to say that the comedy might not be what my parents enjoy most of the time, it wouldn't offend their sensibilities and they would watch this. So approved by both.
- Hakihiko15 March 2026Light, Fun, and Easily Entertaining "Ant-Man and the Wasp" continues the smaller-scale approach of the first film, delivering a light and entertaining superhero adventure that focuses more on fun than on massive stakes. The movie's greatest strength is its tone. It embraces a playful and comedic style that keeps the experience enjoyable from beginning to end. The humor works well, and the interactions between the characters create a lively rhythm that fits perfectly with the story. Visually, the film expands on the creative use of shrinking and enlarging mechanics. The action scenes are inventive and dynamic, turning everyday objects and environments into imaginative battlegrounds. This creativity gives the movie a unique charm compared to many other superhero films. The plot itself is fairly straightforward and doesn't aim for deep complexity, but it moves at a steady pace and keeps the narrative engaging. The performances are solid and help maintain the film's lighthearted energy. "Ant-Man and the Wasp" may not be one of the most ambitious entries in the MCU, but its charm, humor, and creativity make it a consistently enjoyable watch.
- Samy323218 January 2026I like how Marvel connects everything... This connects with Endgame.
- Otacon!18 January 2026I must be frank saying that I haven't read the comic so I can only say what I feel about the character of the movies. Ant-man is fan, there are a lot of funny moments and never too harsh or serious. Taken by that, the movi6is ok as a sequel
- Harish Cousal16 November 2025Light, fast, and surprisingly rewatchable. A clean blend of humor and sci-fi without trying too hard.
- mickerdoo9 September 2025A cool villain and a search for Pym's wife really pull this sequel together. Lilly is an awesome Wasp. Pena is hilarious.
- faze324 October 2025Just as as good as the first one was. Very entertaining
- SniffinTrout23 September 2025These movies are fire, reminds me of the same comedy as deadpool
- Spaceman Joe4 July 2025Underrated
- tellum19 August 2025Very enjoyable, much better than the first in my opinion. Walton Goggins steals the show as he usually does, movie is fun from start to finish.
- Kristian Odland29 July 2025Such a great “pick-me-up” following Infinity War. These characters are such a delight!
- Richard Thornton22 July 2025Sillier than the first, feels like a bit of a placeholder because it is. This movie basically exists to set up Marvel’s big Endgame finale.
- woeb82 July 2025Not a good movie
- gradientorange8 June 2025Ghost saves this movie for me. i love how they wrote her as a sympathetic villain. those are my favorite. mostly everything else outside of her and her story is just okay to me. i do not like the other “villain” at all though. he should have been removed from the movie
- Felipe1 June 2025great movie but i hate ghost so 3,5 stars
