In the near future, private memories are recorded and crime has almost ceased to exist. But in trying to solve a series of murders, troubled detective Sal Frieland stumbles upon a young woman known only as "The Girl." She has no identity, no history and is invisible to the cops. Sal realizes this may not be the end of crime, and it could be the beginning of it.

Not enough tit, too much Samsung on screen tv menu text....... For most! Unless you are a super attractive person like myself... You probably wouldn't know that there are 278 and eleven sixteenths pages of 10 pt. Times New Roman text, all in single line spacing, and with only a single space between sentences/text breaks, when all of the movies "code" shit is put into a word processor.

Great premisis, but poor execution. Unfortunately just a boring movie.

Rewatched after many years. Still enjoyable and had dated well.

If you like watching someone scroll through computer menus then boy howdy is this the movie for you. It’s like a found footage movie except the footage is someone playing the worst augmented reality game.

*contains spoilers* Firstly, how did when it was first released, somehow slipped under the radar! In concept this idea is fantastic, however, it has shades of black mirror episodes ‘The entire history of you’, ‘White Christmas’ & ‘Men against fire’. The idea of everyone’s POV being recorded and stored In the ‘ether’ or cloud is great and scary at the same time. The reason I have likened it to these specific Black Mirror episodes is because each one contains a concept similar to POV being recorded, access accessible on demand, people being scrubbed/ erased from view and especially people seeing things that aren’t really there or phantom images (men against fire). Having said that the concept of hacking someone’s POV so they see Fire, a clear lane of traffic or they’re very own POV was a great spin, I think the concept could be elaborate on further into a TV Series. I really liked this film and how close it is to a surveillance/Big Brother/nanny state that we are so close to.
