Anna and the Apocalypse Ratings & Reviews
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025Man, I really thought I would like this more given some of the ratings of some of you folks out there that I trust. The songs were very catchy and well written which was nice because that can usually be a sticking point for me. But I found it sort of weird that none of the songs had anything to do with the Zombie apocalypse happening around them. In a lot of ways it felt like the whole zombie apocalypse was an after thought, like maybe the original script wasn’t about zombies at all. I don’t know. That’s just how I felt about it. Outside of the first 15 minutes, it didn’t feel very Christmas-y either. Very anti-climactic ending too, left me really wanting for something a bit more. This is probably mostly a victim of my own expectations, but a disappointment nonetheless.
- ConnorJune 16, 2025I was not expecting this movie to have so much heart, figuratively and literally.
- RyezooFebruary 4, 2025How this is so highly regarded and reviewed on rotten tomatoes will forever be shocking to me.
- Hipster ZOMBIEJanuary 26, 2025“Glee” meets “Shaun of the dead” in this Christmas, zombie, musical. The film has some catchy songs even if some of the characters are cringy. Overall it’s a fun romp that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
