This is something the doctor does not know about, so when Sam tells him that he doesn't feel very well, he is told if he wants to live he must keep moving. Sam is on the run with Mandy, his best girl, after him with a whip to help him on the move. Sam and Mandy meet the major, who is also sick. Sam passes the advice to him. Mrs. Leigh and Mandy keep the two men moving. Meantime, the doctor tells the joke to Brooks Mannor, an acquaintance. Brooks meets the major and tells him of the joke, just at the time when the major has decided he would rather die than keep running. The major gets a shotgun, captures the doctor, forces him to drink the rest of the doped whiskey and starts him on the run.
