Amitiville: Dollhouse - is very convoluted and is all over the place structurele, thematically & story wise, but for some odd reason I was invested & intrigued what was going to happen next and how it was all going to tie & wrap up. And for me this film went from being serious in the beginning & middle to a straight up comedy 🤯😳🤔 Whatever atmosphere tension & build up was in the first 2 acts of the film had completely disappeared, this film blew my mind for all the wrong reasons tbh. But I did really enjoy it on a so bad that its good level and I wasn't bored with it at all, as much as this films plot, story & in the end genre identity is all over the place. I will watch this film again to get a better understanding of what the makers were trying to go for here. And I did find the film interesting for better or worse so this film in a weird & bizarre way did tick some of the ✅️ boxes for me, but on a quality & technical perspective this film isn't very good tbh and this one has proven be a very difficult one for me to rate!! The best way for me to rate this is to give a rating that best sums up my overall opinion on the film! So I'm going to give Amitiville: Dollhouse a very mixed 2.5 out of 5 Stars & a 5/10 because there was a lot of things on a technical & quality level, that I didn't like but then I enjoyed how different it was at the same time. This was one of those rare times that, I've found a movie really awkward to rate!! I'm glad this movie exists I'll say that. So it's a 👍👎 as well also.

Mid with a few fun moments, but I can't say I understand why this is in the Amityville series.
