Amityville: A New Generation Ratings & Reviews
- theanonymousjDecember 27, 2025Went in with the lowest of expectations and was pleasantly surprised. There is no reason that this interesting psych thriller about artists and inherited illness should be found slumming it in the Amityville series.
- "THE MOVIE FANATIC"March 26, 2026As far as the sequels go in The Amitiville franchise this is one of its okay 👍 entries!! Although The Amitiville: A New Generation doesn't come anywhere close to the OG Amitiville and its not the best sequel either. However this entry is far from being the worst one in the Amitiville series, the cinematography is decent, it also has some good set pieces in it as well and the characters are all fine, put it this way I didn't forget any of there names which is a big compliment 👍 to a horror sequel. Again don't get me wrong this sequel isn't the best this franchise has to offer outside of the first film. And its a movie that I only rewatch every 4 or 5 years or so, but whenever I do rewatch it as recent as on the day that I'm writing this review, I always have a good time watching it. Trust me you can do a hell of a lot worse than Amitiville: A New Generation. So overall this film is a very watchable, passable & a mid to okay 90 minute horror flick, that's a great time killer to watch if your bored, if you can't find or feel like watching anything else, it's just a very good time waster but is also 💯 nothing special either Just go in watching this with very modest expectations and you'll have a decent time watching it. And finally my rating of Amitiville: A New Generation is a very respectable ⭐️⭐️⭐️
